Spicy New Orleans Shrimp

Hot, spicy, decadent and super delicious New Orleans style shrimp!

  1. lb white tiger shrimp
  2. 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  3. 2 tbsp olive oil
  4. 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  5. 1 tbsp Worcestershire
  6. 1 tsp chili powder
  7. 1 tsp liquid smoke
  8. 1 tsp smoked paprika
  9. 1 tsp dried oregano
  10. 1 tsp sriracha hot sauce (or tabasco)
  11. 4 cloves garlic, minced
  12. juice from ½ lemon
  13. 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  14. salt and pepper to taste
  1. Peel and devein the shrimp.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients to a saucepan, stir and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove pan from heat and let cool.
  4. Arrange the shrimp in an oven- proof casserole dish and pour the sauce over the shrimp.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  7. Bake shrimp for 15 - 20 minutes.
  8. Serve immediately with crusty French bread and drizzle with additional lemon juice as needed.
  1. Total time does not include time for marinating the shrimp.
