Did some high-intensity (HIIT) sprints between steady-states for around 34 minutes and over the course of 11 miles on my Keiser M3 spin bike while watching The Numbers Station on Amazon Prime with John Cusack and Malin Akerman, who were awesome.

I just popped onto my underused Keiser M3 indoor cycling stationary bike that I quite adore. I strapped on my Specialized SPD pedal compatible bike shoes and gave it an easy 20-minutes. I’ll try to do the same thing again tonight.

Lovely. Cut it a mile short because a 16E bus driver for ART—Arlington Transit—took pity on me while I was wandering around the Pentagon and stopped in the middle of the road and let me on, God bless him. I was done but I would’ve done the rest. But I appreciated the generosity and kindness. I even had a metro card so it was all good!

Sadly, this was surely a spirited walk instead of a run, but I was just getting my body prepared. And I might do a few more of these before I move into my Cliff Young Ultra Shuffle.
Sweet running loops from the PBC boathouse
May 28, 2019
Now that I am going to be spending so much more time at the PBC boathouse, I thought I would start jogging those loops again since the boathouse is literally on the loop I used to take before.
First of many long walks before bed
May 6, 2019
I strapped on my prized Original Pattern Snubby Kit Bag in ranger green from Hill People Gear and did a couple of hours of loafing around outside for a couple of hours tonight. I was asleep by 8 minutes after midnight. I walked around the neighborhood while listening to Willam Gibson’s The Peripheral on Audible — so good! Still, be walking.

So slow and would have been longer but the rain threatened. So I went grocery shopping at the end and made the trip a lot shorter, maybe half.
Morning Walk-Run with Errands and Breakfast and Coffee and Laundry Stops

Sort of more of an outing and a visit to the pharmacist and then to breakfast in the park and then laundry and coffee and then pick up laundry and then home. Ha ha!
